For a superb self-catering holiday home in Aberaeron, located on the fabulous Cardigan Bay coast, look no further.  Maglona Holiday Cottage is a traditional Aberaeron Town House built in the Regency style and dating from circa 1868. The local family purchased Maglona in 2006 and completely refurbished it before opening as a holiday home.

Maglona sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms. Two double rooms, one twin single room and one twin bunk room (bunks are slightly shorter than a standard bed, suitable for children or short adults). There is a family bathroom with shower over the bath, a shower room with toilet and washbasin, and a downstairs toilet and washbasin. These have been fully upgraded and refurbished in May 2020.

 

Downstairs there is a lounge with television, dining room that seats 8, fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and incorporated breakfast area, a new (2022) conservatory and an enclosed outdoor patio area providing alfresco dining and raised flower/shrub beds. There is ample room for an extended family or 2 families sharing. Maglona has a dedicated parking area for one vehicle within our adjacent property with additional free on-street parking along Albert Street.

Aberaeron is considered by many as the gem of Ceredigion with its brightly painted houses, bustling harbour, riverside and coastal walks, great restaurants and pubs.  Easy reach of New Quay, Cardigan, and Aberystwyth. Regular bus services to all of the major towns.
