As well as the picturesque fishing harbour, where bottlenose dolphins may be spotted on a clear day. New Quay is where the Poet Dylan Thomas lived during World War ll, and visitors can follow the famous Dylan Thomas Trail around the town. New Quay honey farm is well worth a visit, as are the ruins of Strata Florida Abbey, a 30-minute drive away. Zip wire, kayaking, climbing, and canoeing are available at Llain Activity Centre, and the Cardigan Water Sports and Sea School have various outdoor activities. Golf and horse riding nearby. Shop and pub only 200 yards away.

Enter the contemporary coastal property and immediately be welcomed into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area has large French doors looking out on to the small, hedged garden, with cosy seating, a TV and wooden floors and a wood burner to snuggle up to in front of after a day exploring the area. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with ice compartment and washer/dryer along with a dining table for those romantic meals. Completing the ground floor is a shower room with shower and WC. Head up the oak staircase to the first floor, where you will find two armchairs in front of the bay window with views over Cardigan Bay. Here you will also find a king bed along with a single bed perfect for a child.  There is also a desk available for those needing a peaceful work setting.

Heading outside through the French doors onto a traditional slate patio area and small lawn, there is a bistro table and chairs under the palm tree. Please note, the garden is not secure.  Off-road parking for one car (narrow lane) is available to the side of the property. (Guests with larger cars are advised to drop off their luggage and park in the pay and display car park which is 200 yards away next to New Quay Surgery at a cost of £10.50 per week).

Wonderful location, beautiful house with amazing sea views

Lovely little detached house which was perfect for us as a couple. Has everything you need for self catering purposes & the views from the bedroom are spectacular!

Not a gripe just a bit of constructive advice really but could do with the garden securing if you’re taking a dog & also if you have toddlers you would have to watch as there’s a drop to the garden so could do with some fencing
